ORTHOFLEX (ORTHO FLEX) SADDLES FOR SALE
PLEASE NOTE: BOTH THESE SADDLES HAVE BEEN SOLD AND ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE - I HAVE LEFT THEIR PICTURES FOR YOUR REFERENCE.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN ORTHOFLEX, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND I MAY HAVE ONE COMING IN.
Above are two 15" Orthoflex Patriot Models with super comfy foam padded stitch down seats, removable and washable booties, large padded endurance stirrups (even winter boots fit in these stirrups), and english rigging. Each weighs approx. 18lbs with stirrups and they are 23" long. These saddles have 9 places to hook saddle/pommel bags so they are completely secure, your coat, small first aid kit, water bottle, lead rope, etc. etc. or a crooper if you are riding big hills. No expensive saddle pads required! What you see is what goes on your horse! Grab your saddle and Go! When your "booties" become sweaty or dirty, just slip off and was in your washing machine.
The black Patriot also has an absolutely gorgeous eagle tooling on both fenders. This was purchased as a 16" seat, but unfortunately, it is only a 15" so sadly, it is being sold.
The 2" black biothane "leathers" that hold your stirrups in place can be covered with a sheepskin or fleece making it possible to now ride in this saddle in your shorts in the summer! The placement of the biothanes make posting effortless, even over 6 or 8 hours of doing so. (I have thousands of hours of use on my Orthoflex saddles and have never changed a biothane yet.)
If you are wondering if this is the right size for you... Because of the deep seats they are comfortable for people with hips sized 36 to 45 and probably have a little room on either side of those numbers.
DOES YOUR HORSE NEED AN ORTHOFLEX SADDLE?
Is your horse hard to catch?
Won't stand to be saddled unless you have them tied? (Some even need to be put in cross ties?!)
Pins their ears when you are putting the saddle on?
Turns their head towards you in a warning tone (or even tries to nip or bite) when you do up the girth?
Raises a back foot when you try to do up the girth?
Refuses to stand still while you mount?
Takes short strides when under saddle?
Travels with their head really high (some may keep tossing it in your face!)?
Prances instead of walks, even when you continue to ask for a walk?
Trips a lot?
Chews on their bit?
Shakes their head as though they don't like the bit?
Swishes their tail when there aren't any flies?
Is difficult to stop?
You require a harsh bit to keep control of your horse?
Constantly looks to one side or the other instead of paying attention to where they are going?
Will not work off their back end?
Has a cold or sway back?
When you remove your saddle there are only small wet spots at the shoulders and/or over the kidneys at the back?
Many of these things can be caused from people using a saddle that does not have enough weight dispursement for their body weight, thus they are causing painful pressure points on their horses backs - very typical of english saddles! Western saddles are very unforgiving where they sit on the horses shoulders causing pain if they take a long stride when the shoulder has to come back and force its way under the front again. No amount of padding, expensive saddle pads, or "fixing" can correct this problem. If you are a size 8 boot, and someone tries to put your foot into a size 6 boot, is an extra sock, better padded sock, better quality sock or even 2 socks, going to make that boot fit? NO! A saddle fits or it doesn't. With the flex in the panels on these saddles, they will open and close as needed for your horses width, NEVER ride on their withers, and the front and back are flexible allowing your horse to move freely without meeting resistance.
You thought you were worth the expense of purchasing your best friend. Don't you think your horse is worth the expense of a saddle that fits every step he/she takes and doesn't cause him/her pain? Put your money into one perfect fitting saddle and you won't ever have to worry about the extra expenses of breast collars, spurs, side reins, martingales, expensive saddle pads - that won't work, professional trainers, etc. etc.

Your horse should WANT to be with you. Your horse should ENJOY being on the trail with you. Your horse should NEVER fear their saddle. Fix your saddle problems and fix your relationship with your horse.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS! COME AND RIDE IN ONE OF OUR SADDLES. (I do not use anything else on my horses and own 9 for our 35 horses). I have seen how they change horses that were too dangerous for re-sale and being sold for meat was the only option, into a wonderful trail horse ridden by 7 year olds! Horses that can't be caught start to come when they are called. Horses that are "cinchy" would rather eat their hay than pay any attention to being saddled. Come and see for yourself!
WE WILL SHIP TO YOU AS WELL!
