WELCOME TO OUR RANCH
We are lucky to call this beautiful 140-acre property home. With ponds, hay fields, pine, cedar and hardwood bush, plus the Trans Canada Trail running through it, there’s plenty to explore. We also back onto 400 acres of conservation land and are just minutes from Callaghan Rapids — a perfect spot for families or a quiet picnic (water shoes recommended!).
Our trail rides take you through forest, fields, and bush trails, with frequent wildlife sightings including deer, wild turkeys, foxes, turtles, and more.
Our horses are family. Many have been with us 9–30 years. We never lease them out for the winter or rehome them in retirement — they stay with us for life. Their comfort matters, which is why we use OrthoFlex orthopedic saddles for a comfortable ride for both horse and rider.

We match all riders to appropriate horses based on your riding ability. Our rides are not "nose-to-tail" which means you do need to steer your horses and you can ride beside a friend. All trails are appropriate for all levels of riders (beginners to advanced).
BOOKING POLICY
Any long weekend bookings or groups of 4+ riders must prepay at the cash-discount rate. Prepayments are 100% refundable if we cancel due to weather or if you provide 72 hours notice. This policy helps us provide proper care for our horses year-round.
Please Note: We ask that you let us know if there are any changes to your group size or availability. Please understand this is our income to ensure our horses have hay, grain, regular visits from our farrier and vet.
MINIMUM OF TWO PEOPLE PER RESERVATION PLEASE.

COWPOKE ADVENTURES: Cowpoke Pony Rides $35 ($30 per rider if paying cash) For children under the age of 10 who love ponies and horses, they are going to love ours! We will introduce your child to one of our ponies or horses that will be saddled up and ready to go when you arrive! We help your child to mount up and take them on their own .8 mile adventure through our hay fields, our pine forest and back to the farm. When we are in the pine forest, they can take part in our "did you see it" hunt for all kinds of cute things we have hidden on the trail. The time for this varies by rider and ponies or horses used. It can be 15 minutes to 30 minutes. The age and size of the child will determine if we call in a horse or a pony for you.
Parents are welcome to walk with us! Don't forget your camera. We will line everyone up for a great picture once we leave the pines.
PLEASE NOTE: Once we have booked a pony for you, we are not able to provide a refund if a child refuses to ride. At that point, it is too late to fill your spot.
This must be booked ahead of time to ensure we can get your little Cowpoke scheduled in.
